Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Branko T. Nesković presented Letters of Credence to the Queen Elizabeth II

Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Branko T. Nešković presented on 13 November 2015 credentials to the Queen Elizabeth II. The credentials ceremony took place at Buckingham Palace, the residence of the United Kingdom ruler. During a brief and cordial conversation that followed the credentials presentation, Queen Elizabeth II expressed welcome to the ambassador Nesković and wished successful mandate.

Ambassador Nesković thanked the Queen Elizabeth II for the expressed honor and warm words of welcome. During a short conversation Ambassador Nesković conveyed cordial greetings of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its peoples and citizens to the Queen Elizabeth II, thanking for the support that UK had given to our country with a new initiative for the acceleration of the European integration processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Nesković informed Queen Elizabeth II on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Euro-integration process, as well as the priorities of work during his mandate in the UK, emphasizing the need for further strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation and economic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UK.

After the presentation ceremony, the traditional “vin d'Honore” was prepared at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in honor of the new Ambassador. They were present by members of the diplomatic corps, the FCO representatives and public life of the UK capital and friends of our country.


Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Ireland based in London Branko T. Neskovic presented Letters of Credence to the President of Ireland Michael Higgins

HE MSc Branko T. Neskovic, Ambassador to Ireland, based in London presented Letters of Credence to the President of Ireland, HE Michael D. Higgins on March 31, 2016.The presentation ceremony was carried out in the presidential residence Aras an Uachtarain in Dublin.
After the ceremony, Ambassador Neskovic conveyed greetings of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency to the President Higgins and briefed him on the submission of applications for Bosnia and Herzegovina membership in the European Union, stressing the importance of the support of Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina EU integration process.President Higgins expressed satisfaction with the good and stable bilateral relations between Ireland and Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced further support of Ireland to our country on its way towards the EU. The President of Ireland wished successful mandate in Ireland to the Ambassador Neskovic and expressed hope that the cooperation between Ireland and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be intensified at all levels.

During the talks, it was emphasized that good cooperation between two countries exists in the field of higher education as well as interest in the improvement of economic relations, especially in the areas: food, textile and wood industry and IT sector. Ambassador Neskovic thanked the President Higgins for the participation of Ireland in the reconstruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina and for the aid that the Government of Ireland sent to Bosnia and Herzegovina during the floods in 2014.
