Ambassador Branko T. Nešković attended on 16th December 2016, upon invitation extended by the Commandant of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Major-General Paul Anthony Edward Nanson, the Sovereign’s Parade and the promotion of the officers of this prestigious military academy.

The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is one of the most prestigious in the world, with its tradition over 200 years long, and its students, among others, were Winston Churchill, Field Marshal Montgomery, as well as Prince William and Prince Harry.In this year’s ceremony participated Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who delivered an appropriate speech and handed the awards to the best officer cadets. In course of the reception for high dignitaries, the Ambassador Nešković had the pleasure to meet and talk to the Duchess of Cornwall. On behalf of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina the Sovereign’s Parade in Sandhurst was attended by the Major-General Senad Mašović.

Projects of education and training realized in the Great Britain are the result of a successful bilateral cooperation of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Defence with the Military Attaché of the British Embassy in Sarajevo, and 10 officers of our armed forces already completed the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, while 3 officer cadets are currently attending and 2 will start their education there early next year.
